London, England, October 25, 2008--Geeks gather in colorful guise during a Guinness World Record attempt at the London Games Festival Fringe. Their goal--to fill the Excel Centre with the largest-ever crowd of people costumed as video game characters.
The Fringe, part of the larger London Games Festival, exists to "promote and celebrate the wide variety of gaming experiences which—for whatever reason—currently fall outside the mainstream."
