以下数据显示,五家零售商包括沃尔玛、Nordstrom和TJX等的同一家商店销售额增加,而另外10家则录得下降,甚至是双位数下降。

- Chico’s 下降16.9%;
- JC Penny下降4.4%;
- Saks‘s 下降8.7%;
- Target’s 下降0.7%;
- GAP下降14%。等等。

Though many market followers honed in on Wal-Mart Stores' (WMT) better-than-expected May same-store sales, there's a plethora of other retailers reporting numbers today, too. Here's a quick rundown:
Nordstrom (JWN) announced same-store sales rose 10.9% in May, compared to the Street's estimate of an 8.1% increase. Sales jumped 12.2% to $716 million. Kohl's (KSS) same-store sales dropped 7.2% in May; analysts predicted a loss of 8%. Total May sales inched 1.2% higher to $1.2 billion. Chico's (CHS) same-store sales fell 16.9% in May, compared to the Street's estimate of a 14.7% decline. Total sales declined 8.8% to $141 million. J.C. Penney's (JCP) May same-store sales backpedaled 4.4%; analysts called for a 5.5% decline. Total sales weakened 2.4% to $1.34 billion. Saks (SKS) reported that its same-store sales in May tumbled 8.7%, compared to the Street's forecast for a loss of 7.5%. Total sales wilted 8.7% to $227 million. Target's (TGT) same-store sales surrendered 0.7% in May; analysts expected a 0.2% decrease. Net sales for the 4-week period tacked on 5.5% to $4.56 billion. TJX Companies (TJX) stated its same-store sales muscled 2% higher in May, topping the Street's estimates of a 1.8% rise. Total sales advanced 6% higher to $1.45 billion. Aeropostale (ARO) announced a 6% increase in May same-store sales, in line with analysts' estimates. Total sales spiked 16% higher to $102.3 million. Ross Stores (ROST) reported same-store sales rose 7% in May; analysts predicted a gain of 4.4%. Sales for the period ended May 31 jumped 14% to $513 million. Abercrombie & Fitch's (ANF) same-store sales ticked 1% lower in May; analysts forecast a 1.1% decrease. Net sales for the 4-week period dashed 8% higher to $233.1 million. American Eagle (AEO) reported same-store sales fell 9% in May, worse than the 4.8% decline the Street expected. Total sales, however, rose to $200 million from $199.2 million. Dillard's (DDS) same-store sales crumbled 7% in May, more than twice as much as the 3.3% drop analysts called for. Total sales dropped 5% to $500 million. The Gap Inc. (GPS) announced its same-store sales cascaded 14% lower in May; analysts expected a loss of 9.5%. Total sales fell 8% to $1.09 billion. Limited Brands' (LTD) same-store sales weakened 6% in May, compared to the 5.5% decrease the Street forecast.
