Robert Kubica crashes during GP race in Montreal Canada . Kubica’s (read: qu-bi-tza) car went wide & was launched into the air, then crashed into the barrier & rolled a couple of times and three impacts.

Kubica survived after so strong crashes because the F1 monocoque is made of carbon fibers, that let him survive beside the first impact at the incredible speed of 280 kilometers per hour! Carbon fiber is so strong as steel and so light as the fiber.

今年的6月在蒙特利尔(加拿大东南部港市)，F1的BMW 宝马赛车手Kubica上演了生死精彩一幕，赛车飞驰电掣般撞上赛车场的栅栏，连续三次的碰撞，被好几次抛上天。

业内人士和观众都以为这次Kubica不能幸免于难，可最后他却安然无恙。

什么使Kubica 幸免于难呢——是因为当今世界上好赛车都使用了(carbon fiber)碳素纤维作为机身材料，它比钢材要坚固，却和纤维一样轻。这使得他在赛车以280km/小时速度飞驰碰撞时而得以幸存。
