传统武术国际化中的语言问题初探

摘要

传统武术既是传统文化的浓缩与精华，也是标注着中国符号的民族存在，是世界体育文化必不可少的组成部分。传统武术的历史使命以及当前面临的局势都昭示着其国际化的必然抉择。语言是传统武术国际化中的重大障碍。据此，笔者拟提出几点建议：规范武术专业术语、建设高质量的外语网站、抓好民族传统体育专业外语教学、团结依靠海外华人华侨力量、武术学校放宽办学视野。借此引起武术同仁对跨文化交流中语言问题的高度重视。

Discussion about Language Obstacle Exists in

Internationalization of Traditional Wushu

Abstract: As the main body of national traditional sports, traditional Wushu bears the distillation of traditional culture, and also indicates the existence of Chinese people, so it should be one of essential parts of international sports. In addition, to exist and develop traditional Wushu must realize its value and serve human beings. Therefore, under the circumstance of popularizing of athletic sports all, traditional Wushu has to internationalize. In this course, language becomes the first big obstacle. According to this situation, the author makes the following suggestions: standardize Wushu terminology; construct high quality Wushu websites; consolidate foreign language teaching of national traditional specialty; make good use of overseas Chinese; some Wushu schools should go abroad. Hope that this paper can bring traditional Wushu into highly stress, and make more Chinese people devote to promoting internationalization of traditional Wushu.

1前言

继2004年首届世界传统武术节之后，郑州市将再次举办这一盛会。从两届赛会的报名情况来看，都有60多个国家2000多名运动员前来参赛，规模之大影响力之广是前所未有的。显然，中国传统武术越来越受到全世界的关注与瞩目。目前，传统武术正处于世界崇尚传统与自然的回归、人民更加注重自身健康、国内全民健身活动热烈开展等各方面都有利于发展的时代大背景下，如何推广和弘扬传统武术成为必然要解决的大问题。近现代以来，以西方体育为主的奥林匹克文化迅速席卷全球，许多国家的传统体育项目都不得不改头换面，以应对现代竞技体育的强势挤压，竞技武术正是这种背景下的产物。为提升传统武术地位以利于武术的和谐健康发展，中国武协主席王筱麟特别强调，“传统武术不能丢，否则武术的道路会越走越窄”。传统武术是武术的根基，是我国民族传统体育文化的主体。因此，传统武术的不断发扬光大对于中华民族传统体育事业的发展具有举足轻重的作用。武术发源于中国属于世界，我们必须重视传统武术的发展，传统武术必然要国际化，这不仅是有利于传统武术发展的必然战略决策，更是武术造福全人类的应然趋向。
